Now that every state is under quarantine, so many people are panic shopping and mobbing stores, even Costco, so I decided I would write a little handy list for the foods and products that you really need for when you’re quarantined. (Note: These affiliate links provide support to me as a creator)
Pasta/Rice/Lentils/Beans
These you can cook, put it in the fridge and you can add a few other ingredients like some frozen veggies, meat, potatoes, tomatoes, and onion and make everything with them: soups, stews, salads, one pot meal.
Check out my Ancient Grains Salad to see what you can do with pantry grains, and veggies. Also it doesn’t mean that you have to have all of them.

The quinoa that I use:
Tomato Sauce/Diced tomatoes/Tomato Paste
This is something I always have in my pantry no matter what, and it’s very versatile. My fish curry recipe is really tasty and uses tomato paste and crushed tomatoes.

Oil/Butter/Frozen Veggies
This is another one I always keep in my freezer, you can make pizza, quiche, savory galettes and pies, and when you’re low on fresh veggies they can be really handy.
Broth
Broth is one of those things that you can put it in soups and stews or drink it as it is. Or my Potato and Leek Soup

These are a pantry must-have. They can help spice up and add some flavor to whatever your dish is, and they can be easily stored in the pantry.
Now that we’re in the age that you can receive fresh produce deliveries, I do this every other week from Full Circle, and once you have that on top of these items, there is no need to panic shop. If you’re curious, I did a video where I unbox Full Circle Groceries and then prep a meal.
